Michael Easterling is an actor, a humorist, and professional speaker. After more than a quarter of a century in the television production business, Mike now speaks on things that he has learned over the course of his life as a student, athlete, brother, husband, executive and son. For over twenty-five years he was a television producer and executive with major television outlets from PBS to CBS. During his television career he was able to see how people who are successful and what traits (good and bad) they all shared. As an actor he has been seen on NBC's "Homicide" and HBO's hit "The Wire." Through acting he was able to realize the power of visualization, imagination and enthusiasm in your life or in your daily performance. He also embraced the power of words. As a Baby Boomer, he has seen our nation handle issues of war, race and drugs.Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Howard University in Washington, D.C., Grad Studies from Emerson College, and Certificates in Television Management form the Kellogg School of Business Northwestern University. His professional associations include the Greater Baltimore Committee Leadership Program, Member National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE), Toastmasters International, and the National Speakers Association. He is an energetic and dynamic speaker, actor, management consultant, and facilitator who will engage and captivate his audience. He is also the author of"Hey Coach...Let My Kid Play.",„ a book on parenting children involved in youth sports

"If you are not a boomer, you know one, work for one or are the descendent of one", says Mike, "They make up the coolest generation in American history." Mike also speaks to parents of youth athletes in his keynote speech "Hey Coach...Let My Kid Play." He also runs his
Sport Parent Survival Workshops for parents of youth athletes.
